![]() ![]() ![]() When you click a photo in the Adobe Bridge window, the box in the left lower corner displays the metadata for the file. Adobe Bridge is a creative digital asset manager that lets you preview, organize, edit, and publish multiple creative assets (including Adobe Photoshop. Adobe Bridge CC has a menu bar across the top and quick access tabs for the six standard functions available Essentials, Libraries, Filmstrip, Output, Metadata and Keywords. It shows File properties, Camera data (if you shoot with a digital camera) and IPTC Core. ![]() Only the last one is available for editing (you can see a pen near the fields). Adobe Bridge is fantastic for viewing photo thumbnails, metadata, and keywords. You can enter your personal data and state the copyright, add keywords and comments. You might be working with a combination of files across several programs, such as Lightroom, InDesign, and DreamWeaver. Then Adobe Bridge is valuable for sifting through content without having to actually open the programs. Using keywords in Adobe Bridge logical words to help you locate images more quickly can reduce the amount of time it takes to find an image on a computer. If you submit such a photo to a magazine, for instance, they will not lose your contacts, as the file contains all necessary data. On the picture below we filled in some of the fields. ![]()
